| How to make a Quick Link |
| First of all, you
can only make Quick Links for files you already have on your computer; Sig2Dat
needs the complete file in order to make a Link. 1. Open Sig2Dat. ![]() 2. Press "Signature Calculation". ![]() 3. Now you can drag the files you want (you can do more than one at a time) from your Windows Explorer window to the "Calculate Signature" Window. ![]() Or you can press "Select File(s) For Calculation", browse to the file you want, select it (or them; you can do more than one at a time), and press "Open" ![]() 4. Highlight the file by clicking on it, then pick an option for formatting: I usually go for the ... style hybrid ![]() 5. Press "Copy Selection to Clipboard". 6. Press Ctrl+V to paste into text file, forum posting window, e-mail etc. And you'll see the finished object, like this: File: VirtualDub-1_4_10.zip Length: 711077 Bytes, 694KB UUHash: =6QbuEMkaIrmrm7UBmZT9SqEU6GQ= |
| How to post a Quick Link in the FastTrackMovies.com forum? |
|
(most of this is same as above)
|
| At the new FastTrackMovies.com
forum and some others (e.g. vBulletin) , use " style
" & " style Hybrid" options At the old FastTrack Central and other forums run by ezBoard, you need to use "normal style" hash sig OR "QuickLink HTML style" or "Quick Link HTML style Hybrid". |
|
Always
use an up-to-date virus scanner on any downloaded files.
