1. Download & unzip Sig2Dat 3.11a Setup file.

Now double-click the setup.exe to install it.

2. Find a quick link and click it. Here's an example:
VirtualDub-1_4_10.zip
A Sig2Dat window will pop up, register the desired file, then close by itself.

3. Now start your FastTrack client (KaZaA, Grokster, iMesh etc.). If your client is already open, shut it down (by right-clicking on its icon in your PC's system tray and selecting "Close KaZaA/etc.") and now restart it. (Turning off & restarting client not necessary in recent versions of KaZaA Lite.)

4. Go to your client's Traffic/Download window, and you'll see the file listed there. It will start searching for sources to download it from. (That could take some time.)

Now double-click the setup.exe to install it.

2. Run Sig2Dat & press "Signature Calculation".

3. In Windows Explorer, find the file you want to make a link for, and drag & drop it into Sig2Dat's Signature Calculation window.

4. Highlight the file there, and select [URL]...[/URL] style.

5. Press "Copy Selection to Clipboard".

6. In the browser window, e-mail, document where you want to insert the file, press Ctrl+V to paste the quicklink/hash into it.
